Maria Regina School Going Global

Maria Regina School’s vision of exemplifying excellence has been manifested in another global competition.  Several of our students had the opportunity to participate in an international competition which allows the world to witness their competitive capabilities.

World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) competition was held in Seoul, Korea last July 13 ~ July 17, 2018  with over 1400 participants from some 14 countries: Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, USA and Bulgaria. It gathers institutes and organizations worldwide to promote Mathematics.

Through this competition, students can expand their worldview, experience different cultures, and broaden their horizons. This is one way that Maria Regina embraces the multiple intelligence of the students.

Reginians from Grade School Department braced up to take the WMI competition held last July 14 at Yonsei University, Seoul Korea.
